How We Got Our Start

Wentworth Associates was formed in 1979 as an advertising company. The company's flagship publication was the Financial Advertising Review.

Additional publications followed, including The Doctor's Office, The Dentist's Office, and Profiles in Healthcare Marketing. In the fall of 1983, "The Doctor's Press" was formed to develop and market patient newsletters customized for medical practices. During this time the company became Wentworth Publishing Company, Inc.

By the end of the 1980s, the company had added more publications: How to Get Paid (for the medical practice), Today's Team (for corporate team building), and a bimonthly publication called Healthcare Advertising Review.

In 1996, when we began providing newsletter service for independent Hallmark Gold Crown retailers, the company's purpose became more focused.

We found that our niche was customizing newsletters for businesses to use as marketing tools and relationship builders.

With the addition of new markets, and now partnerships with associations and corporations, we couldn't simply call ourselves "The Doctor's Press" any longer. Because of our focus on newsletters, and to encompass our expansion into other markets, we became Newsletters Ink. After acquiring an advertising specialties company, we also began offering several other services and added PLUS to signifiy that we offer customized newsletters, PLUS a host of other marketing tools to help you build and maintain your clientele.
